Bread Basket Ducky

Name: Bread Basket Ducky
Interests: Baking, reading and sailing.
Where to Find: Zydeco Gifts
Brand: Oriental Trading Company
Price: $1.98 Cdn each

I live for bread.

The sail boat featured in this blog post is my Valentine’s Day gift from my husband and my daughter. They made it out of driftwood and leftover rubber ducky material from blankets that my Grandma made for my daughter when she was little. Homemade gifts are the best. Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone.

Bread Basket Ducky works full-time as a bread delivery ducky. She delivers bread mostly to the elderly who find it too far to swim across the pond for fresh bread. She is hoping to have her own bread shop one day.

Transportation Duckies

Name: Transportation Duckies
Interests: Travelling on the Eurorail.
Where to Find: Zydeco Gifts
Brand: Oriental Trading Company
Price: $1.98 Cdn each

How will you get there?

Transportation Duckies complete any kids’ bedroom decor. We recently bought my son a sailboat toddler bed off usedvictoria.com, so the sailboat ducky is a nice touch to his room. The sailboat ducky is on the far right. If you look at it for too long, it looks like a tug boat. The middle ducky is the train ducky. His favourite colour is red. He has been on trains all over the world. Plane Ducky can fly commercial jets but prefers to fly his small 3 passenger planes. Transportation duckies are a set of 4 with Red Car Ducky.

Downhill Skier Olympic Ducky

Name: Downhill Skier Olympic Ducky
Interests: Skiing, running and meditating.

Sochi, Russia, 2014, XXII Olympic Winter Games

Downhill Skier Olympic Ducky learned how to ski in grade 3. Surprisingly she hasn’t always dreamed of competing in the Olympics. She didn’t decide to compete until she was in her early 20s. She is hoping for a gold medal again this year. She never competes without her lucky red star barrette in her hair. Her great grandma gave it to her when she was just a wee duckling.
